No.51 Cherry Trees at Nakayama River Park
Nestled in between the Japan Sea and mountain ranges, Yuza Town offers pastoral landscapes ringed by snow-capped mountains. The small Araisawa River runs through the town and features a walking promenade lined with 60 somei yoshino planted in 1958. Stroll along the river and feel transported back in time by the picturesque stone-walled embankment and traditional buildings with black roof tiles and chalk-white walls. Night-time illuminations of the trees are another unforgettable sight.
