No.36 Eboshiyama Park
Built by local residents between 1878 and 1910, Eboshiyama Park is situated on a plateau overlooking Yonezawa. The park is home to around 1,000 sakura including somei yoshino, edohigan, and shidarezakura, which are lit up at night. Nearby Eboshiyama Hachimangu Shrine has the largest stone torii gate in Japan, which is surrounded by shidarezakura. The park is also near Akayu hot springs, so you can soak in a hot spring while gazing at the sakura.
