No.7 Nakoso no Seki Park
This park has a history going back far longer than usual. It is said that during the Heian Period (794–1100s), the Japanese military commander Minamoto no Yoshiie read waka poems here that mentioned the area. Since then, many poets have composed odes to this area, which became well known around Japan. Stroll leisurely among the somei yoshino and wild yamazakura, and you may be inspired to compose your own poem to the fleeting beauty of the blossoms.
