No.12 Tsurugajo Castle Park
Visit Tsurugajo Castle both for its history and its magnificent sakura. First constructed around 650 years ago, the castle is mostly reconstructed today, with only the original stone walls surrounding the park. The grounds feature around 1,000 somei yoshino and other sakura, which are gorgeous during the day and when lit up at night. The viewing platform inside the castle gives a feudal lord’s view of the sakura and the surrounding area.
