Along prefectural route No. 298 is a stretch of road where blooming sakura and rapeseed go as far as the eye can see. The contrast of the pale pink blossoms and the bright yellow flowers is stunning. Approximately 2,700 somei yoshino, yaezakura, and yamazakura have been planted here, and the row of sakura goes for some 11 kilometers. Cherry Tree and Rapeseed Festival also takes place during sakura season, and there are u-pick rapeseed fields in the area.
