No.81 Kanchogai Street in Towada (Komakaido)
      Kanchogai Street, which locals call Komakaido, is a 1.1-kilometer stretch of road lined with city, prefecture and national government offices. The street is also lined with 156 sakura including somei yoshino, shidarezakura and yamazakura as well as 165 pine trees, whose dark green provides a vivid contrast to the pink blossoms. Visitors can enjoy the public arts around the Towada Art Center and outdoor stalls and events during sakura season.
