Saigyo Modoshi no Matsu Park is located overlooking Matsushima Bay and offers stunning panoramic views of the sea dotted with over 200 pine-tree covered islands. The park also features many pine trees, which add a gorgeous contrast to the pale pink of the 260 somei yoshino planted around the park and the marine blue water. The view is deservedly celebrated as one of Japan’s three most scenic landscapes.
