No.20 Hanamiyama

The popular Hanamiyama has been called “Paradise on Earth in Fukushima.” A local farmer started Hanamiyama by planting flowering plants and trees on hilly areas of his land, and then opened the land to the public in 1959. Stroll among tokaizakura, somei yoshino, higanzakura, double-blossom yaezakura, and yellow ukon cherry trees as well as weeping forsythia, magnolia, and flowering peach trees in bloom. Climb to the top for views of Fukushima City and snow-capped mountains.
